Noemie & Jean’s Batroun Wedding | Jose Daou Photography
A French Wedding in Batroun, Lebanon

Noemie and Jean came from France to celebrate their wedding in Lebanon, bringing their French and European guests together in Batroun. Their day started in a traditional Lebanese house in the mountains and ended with a beach celebration full of dancing. I photographed both parts, and what stayed with me most was how much everyone enjoyed being together.
Bridal Preparations in the Batroun Mountains
Noemie got ready in a traditional Lebanese house in the mountains above Batroun. Starting there gave the wedding a connection to Lebanon before everyone headed down to the coast.

I like photographing preparations in places with character. The setting becomes part of the story, alongside the bride and the people around her. For Noemie and Jean, that mountain house was the starting point of a wedding that brought together two very different sides of Batroun.
My approach to documentary wedding photography is simple: pay attention, give people space, and capture what happens naturally. I want couples to remember how their wedding felt when they look through their photographs.

A Beach Wedding in Batroun
The celebration continued at a beach venue in Batroun, where Noemie and Jean joined their guests for the evening.

With friends and family coming from France and other parts of Europe, the wedding was also a chance to spend time together in Lebanon. The food was a highlight, and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal before the party moved into a night of dancing.
There was so much happiness to photograph. On a busy dance floor, things happen quickly: a look between the couple, friends laughing together, someone completely caught up in the music. These are the photographs I enjoy making, including moments the couple might not have noticed themselves.
Between the food, the beach setting, and everyone celebrating together, Noemie and Jean’s wedding became a night full of memories worth keeping.

A Natural Approach for French Couples Getting Married in Lebanon
As a wedding photographer in Lebanon, I photograph many French couples who travel here to get married. They often connect with my relaxed approach and the natural, understated style of my photographs, which suits their European taste.
I speak fluent French, English, and Arabic, making communication easy with the couple and their guests. For French couples planning a destination wedding in Lebanon, being able to discuss everything in their own language helps them feel comfortable from our first conversation to the wedding day.
That connection matters. You should feel at ease with your photographer, especially when you are organising a wedding from another country. On the day itself, I want you to spend time with your guests and enjoy the celebration while I follow the story.
Noemie and Jean’s wedding brought together the things I love photographing: a place with character, people happy to be together, and a party full of movement.
Finding the Best Wedding Photographer in Lebanon for Your Day
If you are searching for the best wedding photographer in Lebanon, look for someone whose photographs show the kind of memories you want to keep. For me, that means real expressions, candid moments, and photographs that bring you back to the people who were there.
From Noemie’s preparations in the Batroun mountains to the dancing by the beach, this wedding gave me plenty of those moments.
